It is Yamaha FG700S acoustic folk guitar good? And what people "really mean?
Does this mean that does not sound much like any other music? (I'm interested in playing acoustic versions of songs with rock and alternative.) I tried to convince my parents to get another guitar, plus they saw Esteban on HSN (which is very good, from what I saw here). This my first guitar. I heard that sound caps are good, and has a solid spruce top. And the price is not too bad, either, $ 200. (http://www.zzounds.com/item–YAMFG700S) Is it worth it? (and at least is better than the Esteban guitar) and folk guitars are better or worse you Dreadnought? Any other recommendations, if you do not like this guitar?
Go to a guitar shop independent (not a large chain stores) to be frank and honest with people on their needs. Do not pretend to know something you do not. Most stores held locally work with you to reach an agreement on a guitar, you're comfortable. If you feel pressure, Run, Do not Walk Away and find another shop. A good guitar can be found used for $ 200.00 to $ 400.00 dollars in the Court
